Minnesota reports 697 new COVID-19 cases and 7 deaths

The coronavirus.

More than 62,900 Minnesotans have tested positive for COVID-19 and 1,685 have died, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.

The figures reported Thursday include 697 new cases and seven deaths.

Approximately 1,203,559 tests have been completed. As of 4 p.m. Wednesday, 308 Minnesotans were hospitalized with COVID-19, 154 of them in intensive care units.

Of the 62,993 people who have tested positive, 56,346 no longer need to be isolated.
