More than 44,300 Minnesotans have tested positive for COVID-19 and 1,526 have died, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.
The figures reported Wednesday include 611 new cases and eight deaths.
Approximately 805,212 tests have been completed. As of 4 p.m. Tuesday, 249 Minnesotans were hospitalized with COVID-19, 103 of them in intensive care units.
Of the 44,347 people who have tested positive, 38,290 no longer need to be isolated.
