More than 33,400 Minnesotans have tested positive for COVID-19 and 1,393 have died, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.
The figures reported Tuesday include 245 new cases and nine deaths.
Approximately 520,045 tests have been completed, an increase of 7,261 from the day before. As of 4 p.m. Monday, 339 Minnesotans were hospitalized with COVID-19, 158 of them in intensive care units.
Of the 33,469 people who have tested positive, 29,399 have recovered and no longer need to be isolated.
