More than 78,100 Minnesotans have tested positive for COVID-19 and 1,837 have died, according to the Minnesota Department of Health.
The figures reported Thursday include 1,047 new cases and seven deaths.
Approximately 1,540,107 tests have been completed. As of 4 p.m. Wednesday, 272 Minnesotans were hospitalized with COVID-19, 138 of them in intensive care units.
Of the 78,123 people who have tested positive, 70,175 no longer need to be isolated.
