Mark Trahant is editor-at-large for Indian Country Today. Trahant is the lead correspondent writing the unfolding story about Indigenous economics. He is also the former editor of Indian Country Today. Under Trahant’s leadership, Indian Country Today launched the first national daily newscast available through stations in the PBS network. The digital platform reaches more than 800,000 people each month. He has been a professor at a number of universities including the University of Colorado and is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
