Astraea Augsberger is assistant professor at the Boston University School of Social Work. She joined the faculty after 15 years in clinical social work practice. She was a forensic social worker and supervisor at the Juvenile Rights Practice of the Legal Aid Society in New York City Family Court and directed social work services at International House, New York.
