Minnesotan Denis McDonough joins Biden cabinet as secretary of Veterans Affairs

WASHINGTON—President-elect Joe Biden said Thursday he will nominate U.S. Rep. Marcia Fudge of Ohio, former Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack and Minnesota native Denis McDonough to join his Cabinet.
